Gorjuss girls

Just thought I'd show you another card I made using one of the "Gorjuss" stamps I have. This was from another kit I purchased a while ago from Bec "Bizzy Becs". I'm definately not a purple kind of girl, but I think this worked out ok.

Here is another one I made about a week ago. The paper is from Hot off the Press.

I have just purchased some copics and have been having a play. I will post my first attempt at using them some time soon.

I want to thank all the lovely people who leave comments for me. I appreciate each and every one of them.

Take care xo Jackie

Bella Rose 4x4 card holder

I came across this tutorial on happileighscrappin.blogspot.com and fell in love with it straight away. I'm holding a workshop for the lovely Louise in my home next weekend and think this may just have to be our project. I only made 2 cards but it could easily accommodate 4.

This is the outside. The little bellyband keeps it closed.

This is the inside and these are the front of the 2 cards.

Papers: Bella Rose DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette card stock.
Stamps: Bellas Bloom
Ink: Close to Cocoa and Riding Hood Red. I also used Old Olive and Close to Cocoa markers.
Other: Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, cropodile and corner rounder.

As you know or may not know, I have a beautiful book called "Daily guidance from your angels" written by Doreen Virtue and each day I open it to a random page and read the messages from the angels. This was todays message about feeling the Angels' love... I notice the warm, loving feelings inside of me. I inhale deeply and sense my angels' caring presence. I think of them often and allow myself to feel happy and joyful.

Till next time, take care xo Jackie

Magnolia Stamps

Don't you think that Magnolia stamps are just the cutest ? I purchase all my Magnolia stamps from Bec at Bizzy Becs (her link is on my blog roll). She is such a sweetheart. (Bec, that is!) This is one of her packs which arrived here this morning. I just hope I did it justice. You really should check out her store, it's fabulous and extremely well priced. Let me know what you think.

Till next time xo Jackie

Slider Card

I only recently purchased the "A rose is a rose" stamp set and thought it would be perfect for a slider card. What do you think?

You can find the tutorial for this over at Splitcoaststampers or on Makeesha Byl's Blog.

I used a rose is a rose stamp set, riding hood red, old olive and choc chip ink and cardstock. Bella rose DSP, choc chip grosgrain ribbon, riding hood ribbon and clear embossing powder.

As you know, (or not) each day I open my book (Daily Guidance from your Angel) and read a message from the angels. Today's message is..I speak with love. All of my speech is life affirming, and I ask my angels to communicate through me today. If I find myself using negative words, I pause and begin again with positive ones.

Have a great day. xo Jackie

Playful Petals

Here are a couple of cards Mum and I made on Friday. These are just one of her new stamp sets she recently purchased. She has got the stampin bug, big time. These are the two she made.
And this is the little one I made.

I'm not sure what's been happening with my computer, but each time I leave a post lately, it's coming up with the wrong date and time. Grrr. Not sure how to fix it. Will have to pick my teenage daughters brain again.

Flower Pot Card

I know ! These cards are everywhere at the moment. But this is my version of it. There are diamonds on the center of the flowers (just for you Kylie), but they not showing up.

Just a quick post today as it's my Dads Birthday and he is coming here for lunch, so I have quite a bit to do before he arrives.

Have a great day. Till next time.

Suprise Friendship Box

I have wanted to make one of these for a while. So last Sunday afternoon I sat down and spend the afternoon locked away in my room making it. At first, I was a little daunted by it all, but once I got started in was really very simple. The hardest thing was trying to decide on which DSP to use. Raspberry Tart was the lucky one.. The pattern was from Pam Curtis - Creative Choice Designs.

You can fill the little boxes with treats or notes. I just love it.

Have to head off now. I will be posting a few more on the weekend.

But before I go. My dearest friend Kylie has started up her own blog. YAY!! I'm just waiting for her to post her first item. Can't wait. She is one extremely talented lady.
